Zuma meets party principals

South African President Jacob Zuma yesterday held separate discussions with principals to the Global Political Agreement ahead of a group meeting today.
Insiders said President Mugabe, and Tsvangirai and Professor Arthur Mutambara">Mr Morgan Tsvangirai And Professor Arthur Mutambara — the leaders of the two Mdc formations — were satisfied with the progress made so far in implementation of the Gpa and the workings of the inclusive Government.
President Zuma, the Sadc-appointed facilitator, jetted into Zimbabwe On Tuesday to review progress a month after the inclusive Government celebrated its first year in February.
President Mugabe met his South African counterpart first in an hour and a half-closed door meeting at a Harare hotel.
After the meeting President Mugabe said the discussion went on “very well and as usual”.
Mr Tsvangirai, who met President Zuma later in the morning, said the talks were going on very well.
In the afternoon, President Zuma met Mdc leader Prof Mutambara who said the meeting was “productive”.
“Discourse continues. This is work in progress,” he said.
